PERFECT YOUR Powder SKIING

The age old programme; how do you improve your powder skiing during your one or two weeks of resort skiing in Europe, when you can’t guarantee the snow?Ā  The solution is to head to the powder skiing mecca of interior British Columbia, where deep snow is on tap (there’s an average snowfall of 12 metres per year!).Ā  Join our Heli Ski Coaching Programme (also know as the Powder Introduction Programme) and you will be fast-tracked from piste to powder!Ā  Designed for for guests who are strong, intermediate to advanced skiers/riders, who have not experienced backcountry skiing or powder conditions and are ready to progress from resort skiers to heli skiers.Ā

BUILD YOUR CONFIDENCE In the BackCOUNTRY

Our relaxed coaching groups are made up of 10 guests and two guides, so you will have plenty of support and as much hand-holding as you need.Ā  Throughout the trip, as your skills improve, you will be skiing in a range of terrain from alpine, to trees, but nothing too steep, but enough to challenge yourself so you can learn and develop.Ā  You will be skiing in a group of likeminded guests, who are also learning, and you can bond through the highs and delights of heli skiing.Ā  Ā By the end of your trip, you will feel much more confident in your powder skiing technique and you will come away with a group of friends!Ā

WHERE TO SKI

There are three CMH heli skiing lodges in Canada that run the Powder Introduction Programme. Base yourself out of a remote, heli access only lodge (Bugaboos Lodge or Cariboos Lodge) or CMH’s town based lodge in Revelstoke, and see your powder skiing technique improve!

CMHā€™s classic fly-in remote lodge, based in CMHā€™s Northern tenure in CanadaĀ
